Apple and Spice Teacake

Ingredients

 
180 g unsalted butter (softened)
95g soft brown sugar
2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
3 eggs lightly beaten
125g self raising flour
75 g wholemeal flour
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
125ml milk

410g tinned pie apple
25g flaked almonds
1 tablespoon soften brown sugar extra

Method

Soothing Sugar Scrub

To make a wonderful sugar scrub that exfoliates while it moisturises is easy peasy, see below: 

Ingredients

 
Empty Jar
Sugar
Olive or Almond Oil
Essential Oil (like peppermint, lavender, rose, jasmine)

Method

·         Sterlise your jar by placing it in boiling water and allowing it to dry, alternatively you can place it in the oven on low heat.

·         Fill your jar 3/4 of the way full with sugar and then tip it out into a bowl.
